My training is in Blacksmithing, so I always seem to look at projects through that lens. My degree is in Mechanical Engineering but please don't hold that against me. I like to mix forging with machining and woodworking. I use vintage blacksmithing tools, CNC mills, knife making tools and a 1904 Defiance Gunstock Lathe to execute my evil plans.

I'm the RMJ in the name. RMJ Tactical is a group of Artists and Craftsmen in Chattanooga Tennessee that make tomahawks, knives and other accessories for military, law enforcement and outdoorsmen. I design and develop new processes and they execute those designs with expert craftsmanship. I'm fortunate to have such a good crew. The Gold Point Forge shop is about 25 minutes away. I work separately from the crew as they have a "no profanity" rule and I prefer to work alone anyway.
